Attend one or both days of this AAF Association-sponsored event that brings together production and post-production experts, vendors, and users to explore the value of AAF technology and demonstrates how this technical format can contribute to improved efficiency and cost savings.

Real-world, successful industry implementations of AAF version 1.1 will be featured as well as the premiere of a new compliance program and availability of the AAF Edit Protocol. Additionally, the program will focus on the integration of MXF in AAF version 1.2, complete with technical examples.

All registrants will benefit from high-level overviews and interoperability demonstrations, user and manufacturer panel presentations, and in-depth technical learning.

Register for one or both days to learn from jam-packed educational sessions, technical demonstrations and panel discussions. Those who are interested in an introduction to AAF should attend Tuesday's opening educational session. Everyone should attend the user panel presentation and technical demonstrations. Engineers, developers and users who want advanced technical information should attend Wednesday's sessions.

Participating Vendors

Several AAF Association members will participate in the Advanced Authoring Format Interoperability Demonstration. Apple (via Automatic Duck), Avid, Adobe, BBC, Quantel, Sony, Snell & Wilcox and others will show practical application of the AAF format. Attendees will have time to talk one-on-one with vendors following the demonstration on Tuesday evening or during breaks on Wednesday.

An AAF Association Engineering meeting will be held July 13 and July 14.
