AMWA ID Name Status
IS-01 AAF toolkit v1.1.4 developers release in January 2010.

Full release expected soon.

v1.1.5 – requirements gathering passed to BSC.
 
IS-02 MXF web services API Latest status to be presented at PBS conference.
 
IS-03 Media Authoring for Java (MAJ) API Plan for a developers-release v1.0 in early May 2010.
 
AS-02 MXF Versioning (was MXF Mastering Format) Specification revised following user requirement liaison activity with IMF. One month review to start on imminent example file delivery.
 
AS-03 MXF Program Delivery TSC vote started. Liaison with EBU. Subject to approval, target publication date of May 2010.
 
AS-04 Language Tagging Output being transferred to SMPTE multi-channel audio group

May need to publish an early AMWA version so other dependent specs can be published.
 
AS-05 AAF Effects Protocol Completed. Published.
 
AS-06 MXF File Integrity Approved by the BSC, accepted by the TSC as new project
 
MSAG   Focus is on Joint EBU/AMWA taskforce: Framework for Interoperable Media Services (FIMS)
